I'm looking for some good software that I can use to keep track of the personal projects that I want to do. It's not all programming stuff so I would like something where I can post ideas, links, snippets, etc. I am starting to think something like Evernote or OneNote might be what I want but I just wanted to see if anyone has a system they use to keep themselves organized?
Ta!
Dammit!
OneNote looks like it will do what I want. I fucking hate when I post a question and then find something before anyone has a chance to offer a solution. Sorry!
Hey, no problem, glad we got it sorted out for you.
Come back anytime.
I use google keep as its a more cut down version of those things and that's all I want really. It's very basic though!
Post it notes. old receipts. junk mail.
I use one note when researching stuff to keep tabs on the various things I find, but to be honest it's really clunky and I don't really like it.
An electronics lab I joined at uni uses a wiki as a daybook, and for projects (rather than research) it works so well. It's it quite as streamlined for some things (like adding screenshots), but it's much easier and logical to read through what you've already done. And you can edit/read from anywhere, whereas one note support on mobile is pretty pants.
I use Onenote for pretty much everything I need to work on now. Helps me keep my brain in order!
I wish when you laser a URL it would grab a screen shot/photo whatever like what Facebook /g+ does.
