This is related to my question about NAS + networking.
It has been suggested putting two main categories of files (images and everything else) on separate volumes. Does that make sense performance-wise, given it's all going through the same cable?
Dunno if it matters, but we have up to 6 simultaneous users on the NAS, but usually it's 2 or 3.
The TS-451 has four bays: 2 x RAID 1, RAID 6, what?

If you're on gigabit then surely the limiting factor is the drive speed? I assume you're it using SSDs...

Is "it" scotch for "not"? If so then yes, I am not using SSDs*. That being the case... RAID 1/6/what ?
*actually, I am not using anything ATM, since we don't have the NAS, or the drives to go in it. Yet.

Looks like it's going to be RAID10.

RAID 11. Because 11 is more than 10.
