Re. Next 360, yes it will. Still suprising the current gen is a bastardisation version of the 2k platform, but was and still is the metro w8 style os.
They actually announced that?
Also, hello! Not seen you for a bit.
I read it on one of the dev blogs somewhere, unified branding with Win 8 being the backbone.
And hello, I've not been on Steam as much, but have been on here. Real life crap to deal with. Have to game sometime.
Definitely need to get killing zombies sometime, aye.
And good, glad to have my suspicions conformed :Y
Oh, just on the folders subject: in the bottom right corner of the Start screen should be a small box with a "-" in it. Click on that, then right-click on the groups that you've organised your icons into. That should give you the option to name the groups.
Turns out I can get Windows 8 Enterprise from work for free. Downloading the ISO now. Tempted to give it a go at home.
That temptation will soon fade.
I'd try it either in a separate partition or on a spare PC first. It's a tricky one. If you can either look past the flaws or get used to them, you may like it. On the other hand, you may use it and then come to the conclusion of "Well done MS, you've totally fucked that one up".
I'm interested in hearing about his experience.
Do you have any Server 2012 machines yet? I'm noticing a strange permissions issue with IIS, and wondering if it's just something I've done wrong or if it's a bug.
