Seems like Mojang are starting to get their shit together...
we’ve moved to using git instead of svn, started using a task and story tracker, and configured a build project using Maven and Gradle.
That's all stuff they
should have been doing from at least as soon as "Mojang" existed, if not before.
Oh, and they've pre-released 1.2.5, which is almost entirely fixes, and also pre-announced the actual release date (Wednesday 4th April).
Also, looks like the Bukkit "recommended build" for 1.2.4 was
released Wednesday just gone, so that's a total six day turnaround.
