Same here, joined as a spotty teenager. Now only a couple of years away from turning 40.
Read an article on Ars Technica the other day that made me feel old - remember the "All your base are belong to us" meme? It's over 20 years old now :(
I wish I wasn't this person, but I find the turn of time just gut wrenching sometimes.
Wasn't I 16 or 17 when I first came all the way up North for your art thing. Think you spoke to my dad. I know i got the train cos I couldn't drive, and I also recall being chuffed to get served at a station pub somewhere!
Weird to think what an impact PCF/NPCFF/Teh had on my formative years!
Hope you're keeping well, though. After this blasted pandemic I'm going to be going to some real effort to catch people like yourself for a beer if you could be persuaded?
I think I've must have had some weird cache issues with Firefox, been checking in periodically since January and nothing's popped in any feeds. I've just switched to Chrome as a default and it's a comparative hive of activity.
I did try to investigate what the final outcome was for young Trigger, but, as often happens, the papers (the online ones anyway) lost interest once the gory details were spilled, and the court records are not very helpful either. There were one or two articles as late as December and it looked as though he might be heading for another community sentence, but he may have ended up inside.
Yeah, I had a quick nosy myself but couldn't find anything either. Still, given how sleazily he behaved towards the women here on Teh back in the day, and how hopelessly he adjusted when given "final chances" in the Sanatorium, I'm sure it's only a matter of time...
