This has enough comedic talent delivering enough funny lines to nearly overcome low production values, no-budget fx and a juvenile, if mostly entertaining plot. Nearly. Pretty sure I've only seen Linda Fiorentino in one other role (MiB1). She was pretty good in that; she owns this (most of the rest of cast either lack the chops, or dialed in their performances). Alanis Morissette is oddly cast as God, a non-speaking role (God's voice kills people).

Oh, this is the "Buddy Christ" film. It's an odd one. I saw it in the cinema when it came out and I remember laughing a bit, a few pieces of the plot, not much else.
