I used it a long long time ago to play games on rubbish graphics. Might be worth a shot.

I assume I can just copy my L4D2 folder from the laptop to my desktop. It wasn't installed on there and said about 12 hours :S I don't think it gets a very good wifi signal up there :(
I copied the files over from the laptop. The closest to what you said was validate game cache, or something similar in the game properties, but I couldn't select it.
I tried to install it with the files in place and it took a while to discover existing content, but then deleted it and started downloading the game instead.
:( Are we better waiting for this game at a time when Smiffy has been uncapped and you're able to sit in your attic with something approaching a working install? :J
Not having much luck getting it to work at the mo :( I'm not sure how long it's going to be downloading upstairs but a couple of hours at least I'd guess.
I'm zipping up my L4D2 folder at the mo and I'll try transferring that across to my desktop instead because I had to copy everything in two goes earlier as my flash drive isn't big enough for it all so I might have missed something. I'll see if that works.
I'll also have to sort out somewhere to put my mouse because I don't have a desk, I've been using it on my leg which is awkward while also holding a keyboard on my lap :S
Argh! My mouse seems to have stopped working! And I restarted Windows to see if it's a problem with that instead of my mouse and it's doing some updates :O
