There are a few conditions that police will sometimes react to: Driving while black, walking while black, living being black, being in the wrong place while black.
I know it is hard for you to comprehend, but racism, particularly white-on black-racism - is still alive and well here in many parts of the U.S. It is much more subverted now, but it is still there. Black-on-white racism also exists and is just as wrong. But let me subjugate your particular race for about 400 years and see how you fare after that amount of time.
