Oops :) Yes, I want to do the opposite of Handbrake et all. Last time I downloaded ConvertX I had a dodgy copy that put some shitty virusy things on my computer. Me

I was asked to copy a VHS to DVD just this week. My father in law's got the setup to convert it and burn to a disc, but the disc wasn't working in my DVD player, so I ripped it and burned it back to a disc with ImgBurn - it's free and works well, but I've heard it comes bundled with OpenCandy these days, so have uninstalled it again. I went for the old faithful ConvertXtoDVD in the end. I don't think I've used it since getting my new (3 years old?) PC. It's super quick on it compared to the last time I used it. I think my title might be a bit misleading. I want to transmutate to a DVD, not transmutate a DVD to a different format. Or I did, done now. Me

XMedia Recode works well. Converts any video format into any other, resizes etc.
