I'm kind of wishing I did that. The instructions to put it together are useless. I did find another guide where someone had made their own version for big displays up to 6" so I night try that out instead. And easier, less parts, but he glued the lenses in the holes, no flappy bits to hold them in place.
That might not be a bad idea. I had trouble from the beginning with the lenses falling out. And I even had flappy bits!
Matt,
For some reason GMail has started marking email from teh as spam with a link to their bulk senders guidelines. I was too quick to mark it as not spam, but if it happens again I'll take a snip so you can see what it says.
This only started a couple of hours ago. I got mail from the site fine this morning and now this afternoon it's marked as spam.

I just changed where it sends my email to get around it. But I thought you might want to know about it because it's an issue with how the email is constructed or Sent or something. From the quick checking I did I think you can fix it.

Reading the instructions, it looks like something Pete will need to add a TXT record (and possibly an SPF too) to the DNS records. At least I think Pete has control of the domain? Still says it is registered to LP.
Yeah it was easy to make. I don't have anything to hold it together, or on my head, or a button for it. So it's a bit awkward. And the lenses are very blurry at the edges. Are they all like that?
But it's pretty impressive. There's a pretty good immersive video called Help on YouTube which was fun to watch.
I'd really like to try a Vive or Rift after playing with that.
The Contagion download in Vrse is fun. Creepy walk through a psychiatric ward strapped to a wheelchair. Sian tried it and threw the phone on to the bed :)
Pete has added the TXT record to the domain, so we can track mail delivery reports to Gmail accounts. Will take a while to get some feedback, but will hopefully give some idea as to the problem.
