The head offfice of the company I work for is in Sandviken in central Sweden. I visit maybe 4 times a year. The place is nice, but very expensive. Be aware that lots of places don't open on a sunday. The people are freindly and proud of their traditions and culture. A lot of their culture is based on equality and fair play for everyone. Outdoor sports are a big part of almost everyone's lifestyle.
Saying all that, I wouldn't like to live there. Alcohol is only available from government shops outside of bars and restaurants. The weather is cold in Winter and warm in Summer. It is nice to visit though.
Based on the dragoon tattoo girl and Kurt Wallender, Sweden is a place to stay the fuck away from.
