Whilst waiting for my Dominos 2 for 1 to arrive and cursing because I swore I'd never pay their over inflated prices again (even when it's half price) I thought I'd have a look at prices in the US.
I paid £17.99 for my pizza, from Dominos US the same one costs £9.80 !
I knew there would be a price difference because of varying overheads, cost of ingredients etc. but the prices aren't even close. How come they can sell the same pizza in the US for half the price they do here, it's not the same with other products, although cheaper in general there's not such a huge difference.
I wonder if there's a list somewhere that shows the prices for Dominos around the world, I know that a McD's costs roughly the same wherever you go and is based on the US$, so what costs $1 at McD's in the US costs the equivalent of $1 everywhere else (with one or two exceptions, third world countries etc.).
Depends on what they do. I delivered for them 100 years ago. It was minimum wage plus tips. I can't imagine anyone other than the manager making anything over minimum though.
--------------------------------------------- Give me liberty or, I dunno, something.
I know two kids headed for college working for them. They're trying to help their parents with future school expenses. Nice kids. There are many who wouldn't even think about helping, let alone actually do it.

My old man does his own. It's no more expensive, it tastes better, and we actually know what is in it.

We had a Domino's tonight because the weather is miserable and I'm too bloody knackered to even contemplate looking in the freezer, never mind cook of defrost something. Sadly Domino's is the only place that delivers to us :(
Think the box must have been carried vertically or something, but after we managed to seperate out the differen't pieces it looked like this:
I think I'm pretty lucky with the Dominos near us. I can't say I've ever had a bad pizza from there, in fact I find them pretty yummy. I never get delivered cos they always have a BOGOF offer on collections. Still expensive then.
I've also had pizzas from a couple of other Dominos and have had mixed results. Overcooked or just not so good.
