I don't miss those rectangular pads at all. For what it's worth the Mega Drive had the best pad of any console. Also, well done on ~~ripping off~~ making a working tetris! :D Drawings n' that

They are good, it's the only pad I've liked the analog sticks on, good for driving games, but they're crap for Street Fighter. The six button mega drive pad was brilliant. The dpad was the best bit, I can't describe it adequately, but it kinda 'floated'. :-Y Drawings n' that

I'm really liking the xbox one pad, too early to say if it's better or not. Build quality is definitely lower though :-(

The big flaw with the 360 was the d pad, although I never had much cause to use it.
