Just got back from Ars Electronica. Same old same old, lots of geekery, some actually worth seeing, lots of beer, lots of sausages.
The big live event that takes place on and around the Danube, the Klangwolke, was a bit of a disappointment this year, but had one highlight: a flock of computer controlled, networked quadricopters, with ultrabright LEDs forming a free-flying screen in the sky. More impressive as a technological achievement than as a screen.

Whilst I recognise the honourable nature of his intentions, an arm vagina is a poor excuse, easily hidden by any long sleeved shirt generous enough in its cut to accommodate panty pads. Real men have forehead vaginas.

That brings to mind a wonderful story in Survival Research's "Pranks" issue, about LBJ fucking JFK's head wound as the body was flown back from Dallas to Washington for his state funeral.
