Windows Server 2008 Hands on Administration, I can't help but feel it would have been more valuable 8 months ago before I took over as systems admin and my first task was to upgrade half the servers to 2008R2!

I would like to go but with a new baby, and going on a jolly the night before (and the following Wednesday thinking about it), I think I would have used up all my browny points with the wife so I'm going to have to skip this year.

Strangely enough, Dubai was one of the resorts available on the Meilenweiss (ski pass that covers several resorts in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Lichtenstein) last year. I think it's been dropped this year though.
Depending on when/where you guys pick I might be able to join in. Generally these things seem to be early evening and central which I can struggle to get to unfortunately.
Well, I'm stopping in a shite hotel near Euston station (convenient for anything?) but have 9am starts (something of a lie in when you're used to living with a 6 month old!) so could do a later evening pint if that suits, I have no idea of my way round London though!
:( but at least I won't feel guilty for pulling out now, which I am. For reasons that I can't go into, that Saturday is no longer free for me. So yeah, maybe a 10th Anniversary for Beehive in April instead?
