I think I might be a bit behind on things, what with sorting out awards ceremonies and whatnot, but I've recently started playing Skyrim.
As with Morrowind I'm a sneaky Bosmer archer, but this time I'm a sneaky LADY Bosmer archer. I've got to the point in the main quest where I've got to go speak to the Graybeards, but haven't got round to that because I've been too busy with sidequests and twatting people in the head with arrows.
It's very good. The DLCs are worth installing too. I really enjoyed the Hearthfire add-on. I've done everything now, so I'm just killing all mortal NPCs. It's gradually becoming deathly quiet.

This seems to be a fair assessment. Stealth archers are where it's at.
All: Any mod recommendations? There seem to be tons of them out there, and it's all a bit bewildering. I've got SkyUI installed, which has made life much easier. I had a brief look at ENB, but it mainly served to slow everything down horribly and didn't look any different. I presume that's because I hadn't tweaked it properly, but life's too short for tweaking.

Thanks! So far I've been focusing on making it look pretty. I've got the official HD textures, Seasons of Tamriel, and have just downloaded the Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Enhanced Lights and FX and Grass on Steroids but haven't played with them on yet.
"Unread books glow" looks to be a useful one.
Not felt the need to install the instant merchant one. In fact, I've not really bought much from merchants - there's so much to be scavenged!

It's not so much for the buying as for the selling. When you're in the interminable Dwarven dungeons, it's useful to be able to offload swag for cash every now & then.
