To be fair, the traditional place to "enjoy" pork scratchings is the pub to accompany a lot of beer, much like a donner kebab . They are pretty horrid otherwise so I'm with ken and Co.

hahaha, that was great. Well done all four of you (inc dog). I think your main mistake was eating the pork scratchings straight after chocolate. That is not a good combination! They should go really well with a nice beer. Speaking of which there is a beer festival running near my house and I'm off there tonight. With luck they'll have some nice big fresh scratchings on sale, none of this artificial stuff!

The chocolates were all very good, I really really liked that one with the honey in it. I've had something like it before but I can't remember what it is. And the Boost bar is very good! The only one I didn't really care for was the Curly Wurly, and that's only because the caramel was so think it was hard to chew!

Now those scratchings... those are just /wrong/. Do you seriously eat them? I assumed they were for playing joke no foreigners.

Curly Wurlys are nicer if they're warmed up a bit, I think, as otherwise like you say they're a bit tough. Although, by the time you get to the end of to the end of one it's usually softened up enough anyway. The honey one was a Crunchie. They're awesome. FORJ Forum \| piXY \| Soda \| QuickSlide
