I believe I feigned the retarded look on that photo, or then again it could just have been a bad caffeine free morning.

I think I've got a picture of the final trimmed uber-tache as well, I'll see if I can dig it out when I get home.

Feck, haven't got the picture at home, must be on my work PC somewhere. Pretty sure it must be there, 'cos there's a les res version of it I set as my profile pic on the ol' intranet. I'll have to get it tomorrow.

Weirdly, after this whole thread started I've felt the need to shave more frequently than ever before, I've had two shaves in two days. :|

I can't stand it most of the time, up until the day before yesterday I'd shave maybe 0.75 times a week.

At the risk of sounding girly I've got fairly sensitive skin and shaving really does a number on it, so I let the hair grow, which is fine as I don't really care about how my face looks.

However, the wife likes me shaven and I do like the fresh feeling you get /after/ you've had a shave, but I hate the itchiness you get when the beard comes in after a week or two being allowed to grow. :C

So, I shave every so often out of necessity. Except the last two days.

I have tried something different though - going at my face with the electric razor to keep the stubble down, but as that never gets into all the nooks and crannies (usually just behind and under the jaw bone) I have to finish it off using a Mach 3. I've also found that just using water as a lubricant works as well as shaving foam. :-/
