I just did a quick test and it's got ~50% allocated, but never seems to get above 20% used before the garbage collector comes along and drops it back to ~12%.
That's with a relatively new world though, and not doing a great deal other than running around the tops of walls looking in all directions - I guess on Teh Server it has a lot more stuff to worry about.
Haven't had any crashes - other when actually trying to connect to the server (I now get a "mark/reset not supported" message, but it's the same error as before), but that's not really a crash in the sense I expect Xen means.
Bukkit is, even though it doesn't actually say this on their site because it is shit, an API for the server. It provides methods and events for plugins to use, but provides no user functionality.
I am trying to recover from a chest infection. I am excited to do some minecrafty stuff after months of not playing. I have just re-installed Windows. I will re-fix minecraft and hop on the server.
Is anyone else about? What community project is going at the moment?
In single player, last autumn, I built a massive train station out of glass. I feel should get a screenshot, but even a screenshot wouldn't do it justice. I think only a video could show it off.
Well, anyway, I shall hop on Teh Mine and see what I feel inspired to do. Nothing destructive of course.
Oh yeah, I also made a tunnel that went... a very long way. I think I put signs up and it was about 2.5km long. Half of that had track and I had a strip mine that went to bedrock, but still couldn't get enough iron to finish the track all the way along the tunnel.
For some reason I can't get on. When I tried using the /bin Kos uploaded it said outdated version. When I switched to the most recent it said bad login :(
when I logged out last night I was standing on the edge of a wide open plain
today I logged in and was in a huge forest! - brain was all WTF??
(know now, you guys planted stuff)
