I couldn't get the new minecraft.exe launcher to connect to the authentication server regardless of the . jar file version I had.
I found a copy of the old launcher on the net, after downloading the new one mislabelled as the old one at least 5 times, and now it works. Had to delete the bin folder entirety to get it to update though.
Seems Mojang know the new launcher isn't working, yet they still have it on the website. Would it kill them to take it down while they can't get the bloody thing to work? |
