I read recently that image was taken 'upside down' and flipped through 180 degrees to make it more appealing to our Mercator influenced prejudices about how the world /should/ look. :C
If that's a bowling ball, then it's missing a hole.
If it's a mask with eye holes, then given that they're slightly more towards the top of the image in the orientation you've posted, I'd say you've got it the right way round.
I know it's a cut down version, but it seems to be the 'just building things' version, which'd be perfect for me.
I'm gonna try and get this setup tonight, my eldest has been wanting to have a go. That said, I've read that the Pi3 can handle full blown Minecraft. Anyone had a go at that yet?
