Interesting, not sure if I like it. I feel things that are building-like should be user built.

The maximum level for Lava is not 10.

As I wrote:

which can occur naturally at any level

There are plenty of surface-level lava lakes on the server, and I've encountered lava falls coming from at least 80 in single player a few times.

Yeah, there's a lot of uncertainty about all this - especially because they're adding so many radical changes in one go.

So long as they make sure that there are distinct Creative, Survival and Adventure modes then I think people will be happy.

If they try and merge any of those three then there will be a lot of people complaining.

It's been possible since Alpha 1.2.6 but was "rare" back then.

It's not my image!

There's two reasons though - they're not hard boundaries, but probabilities, and they've changed over time.

There's some people who have used level editors and done graphs of actual distribution. Might be interesting if anyone has done that for each release to see how things have changed.

What about if you find a pit dug all the way to bedrock (with water in for safety), then jump over that and do /sethome before you fall.

Where does /home put you then?

The big hole you have that goes down to bedrock with water at the bottom and ladders to get out?

As part of a test for whether /home is deliberately putting him underground.
