Something I've noticed with chunks generated since beta 1.7 update is that there seems to be a lot more vertical shafts (compared to surface tunnels), and deposits of iron ore seem to be larger (though I've not done any objective comparisons).

I'm not entirely sure how "Randomly generated dungeons" differ from how they are now, unless he means they'll stop being cuboids.
Would be nice if biome edges are more feathered/non-linear, though no indication if that's what is actually changing. |
