No, can't find any (obvious) cookie-related changes. I even set Safari to accept cookies from any site without avail.

Hey Matt, I didn't even have to do that. I'd accidentally closed Safari (which I'd kept going with a few tabs open for the last couple of weeks) and now it's fine. This post is from Safari (heart)

So you only just decided to restart Safari at this point of things not working?

Surely the first thing to try is restart (fail)

It'd worked fine for days on end (well over a week).

Plus it had windows open that I was using.

And, also, while I think of it .... :-$
