So remind me again - you're now working for the Department of Not Helping, right?

I had a look here:
http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_bulletins/currentAndFuture.html

And there's nothing which would affect things too badly.

I blame the unions anyway. If Thatcher had her way, all the engineering work would be carried out in the middle of the night by cheap foreign labour, with the electricity switched on. And then we'd send the cheap foreign labour back to where they came from, having taken all their money.

There's one thing I don't understand: Why would Randy and Jewel, for some reason, have sex right at the beginning of the movie?

-- Um, like, are you kidding? Randy sees the golden opportunity (like finding plutonium by accident) and takes it.

I thought that's how we do things in Blair's Brown's Britain anywy?

So 10th, then?

The noises commonly associated with flatulence are caused by the vibration of the anal sphincter, and not by the buttocks. The sound varies depending on the tightness of the sphincter muscle and velocity of the gas being propelled, as well as other factors such as water and body fat. The auditory pitch (sound) of the flatulence outburst can also be affected by the anal embouchure.

I will just say that last night I arranged all my work for October and have kept the weekend of the 27th free.

And I booked the 27th off work with much kicking and screaming (I don't really get days off).

I could attempt to change it to.. whenever the Scots are on about now.

What about Linn?

Some cultural information about Britain. English people are decisive, Scottish people are faffers. 10th of November any good for you?

There was no kicking or screaming involved in my day off. All it means is that I don't get to do sound for Abbatoir, the Abba heavy metal tribute band.

If the Scotches get teh 9:53 from Embra to York on the 27th, then we can arrive at 13:45 at an approximate cost of £22.50

York to the dog basket seems to be about £13 and no problems reported on that route.

Return on Sunday can be done from Leeds to Glasgow for about £22, and to Edinbugh for £21.60, both leaving Leeds at 12:08.

As much as I hate to condone this indecisiveness, I can get a flight about $140 cheaper for the November date.

I would have to book it today for that though, as the prices change everyday.

So sure, I still can alter my plans if necessary.

Good fucking god, it's no wonder you Scottishes lost at Culloden: you couldn't make up your fucking minds which side to play for.

But yeah, 10 Nov's fine. As long as the rot stops there.

The ones I'm looking at today are Air Transat  - including taxes it was going to be about $475.

Last week I could have gotten a seat on an US airline (I think may have been Delta, but don't remember for sure) for $310, including all taxes. I'm hoping something like that comes up again.
