(Or 2006, if you want to actually be talking about the year that's being covered by them)

So yeah, it's that time of year, when I half-arsedly prod you with sticks until you nominate people for things, then eventually, people win awards and everybody's happy.

So, what kind of awards do you want this year?

Last year, we had:

The somewhat inevitable Best Sig award for best sig.

The Matt Beale award for beehive development madskills.

The 2Gb tbh award for Most Helpful Poster.

The 'Rendle always wins "funniest poster" but I'm not bitter' award for the second funniest poster.

The "Ricky!!! eeee's not woorrrrrffff it!!!" award for feeding the troll when there's really no need!!!

The "Screw You Guys, I'm Going Home" award for the best flounce.

The "No, really, I'm really leaving this time" award for the worst flounce.

The "I miss Uncle Tony" award for returning member.

The "Best newcomer" award for best Loster.

The funniest or strangest thing to happen on teh forum this year award, for the funniest or strangest thing to happen on teh forum this year.

The "member who is clearly so dull that nobody really thinks twice about ever considering him for an award even though he has been around for so long he can remember the pre-delphi days" award.

So come on people, suggest which of those ^ awards you'd like to keep, give reasons for removing the ones you want to boot, and suggest completely new awards which will excite and arouse everyone!

I'd like to see the Werthers Original award for best forum oldie. Although how would you define that? Those over 40 perhaps?

Other than that, like those suggestions, especially some such as the worst photo award.

To elaborate on some of the less descriprive awards, I'll put forward these variations:

The Anne Widdecombe award for worst photo in Gallery

The Peter Kay award for funniest thread

The "This-award-is-not-available-because-it-has-flounced" award for best Flounce.

Can't think of owt for disturbing thread though :(
