ooh. I like the sound of Kevin Can F**k Himself. Not too worried about the recommendations not matching what I asked for since I was really saying 'Please provide me with something that will do what programme x did for me'  which is a bit ambitious/disingenuous.

I shall  sample some of these suggestions. Thank you.

Hello!  (hug)

Kevin Can F**k Himself was great. Was, because it got cancelled. But anyway, Annie Murphy who played Allison in KCFH s also amazing in Schitt's Creek. Watch it if you haven't.

Hello! :D (hug)

Yeah, part of why I've not watched season 2 yet is knowing that's all there is.

I didn't actually get on with Schitt's Creek. I tried several times. On paper it's perfect for me and I *want* to enjoy it but, for whatever reason, just don't.

Might be time to give it another go though.

I would recommend Santa Clara Diet though. I think this one went a bit under peopes' radars. It's a really great black comedy that's also somehow upbeat and endearing.

(It might be that the upbeatness put dark comedy people off and vice versa...)

It is good, but can't hold a candle to Levy's SCTV work. That was subversive.
