A 95% confidence interval has a 0.95 probability of containing the population mean. 95% of the population distribution is contained in the confidence interval.

Nah... the WD Reds are optimised for NAS (they are rated for double the load/unload cycles over, say, the WD Greens) but they can be used elsewhere as a regular drive too.
