Oohh, nice. I'd like to try a bit of FPVing (YJ?). Lucky it was only the motors that were damaged after being in the water so long.

It looks like a blast! Yeah I'm pretty lucky that that was the only thing that got damaged.

Hopefully you won't lost signal when you're flying around somewhere you can't see and LOSE IT FOREVER!

When I feel like I'm good enough to go miles I am going to get a GPS system for it.  I have my eye on a UHF system that would let me preprogram a route and it would then fly unattended.

I have so many things I'd like to do... I'd like to build one using my Arduino stuff but on the other hand I'd like to buy a 350 QX2 as well.  I wish I would just hit the lottery or get a fat bonus!

The new controller board finally arrived today!  I replaced the old one and did some testing.  It flies again!

Then I loaded it with my transmitter and new camera and did a few lifts to see how it would do.  I need to make/buy a cloverleaf antenna for the TX.  The stock antenna is the heaviest item and without attaching it the 180 seems to do fine.  I will be interested to see how much the added weight decreases the battery life.

Does it swim again too?

I'm sure it would if I let it but I'm avoiding water for now!

Fit floats and submerge the camera?
