As in the blue tape that comes on the moving parts of new printers. It's not so fun taking the same stuff off a fridge freezer.

I've always found that not putting it on a fridge-freezer in the first place rally helps.

Presumably it's a fridge-freezer-converted-into-a-car type of rally.

If so, I'd like to see Nigel's first place entrant. I'm envisioning some Last Of The Summer Wine knocked together concept. With alloy wheels.

I had a new printer delivered today. A Dell C1756nfw multifunction laser/LED printer. NO PRINTER TAPE!! :O Unbelievable. I want to pull the tape off :(

And with my brief testing yesterday it's very good. Even the photo print quality is acceptable. Obviously not as good as a photo printer and I don't known if it will accept photo paper. But sharp text and solid colours with graphics.

And it doesn't have print heads, so hopefully nothing blocked with stripy prints all the time. I wasn't expecting to find the wireless function useful but it also is. Nice to have it set up in my daughter's room and print from anywhere in the house.
