Thankfully there was no cricket in sight.

I am liking your work but the most important thing is what type of saw was it?

Mainly a circular saw, with a tenon saw for a couple of hard to reach places. That was all I had to hand.

I was expecting a chainsaw in there somewhere but, Good job that man!

If I had one I probably would have used it. Might have been a bit scary at the springs, though...

Nonsense, Chainsaws are super safe in a confined area!

Hence the well-known adage "there's not enough room to swing a chainsaw in here...oh, I seem to have made room"

I went to see Kings of Leon in Swansea. Had a seat right at the back, got spewed on, and managed to move right down the front. No one really seemed to be sitting whee they were meant to by the end though.

They was good.

Today (very early this morning) got back from the Pearl Jam gig in Leeds. It was most amazing. And they did two of the three songs I was hoping for - Porch and Don't Gimme No Lip. Never been to the Leeds Direct Arena before, it's a vast, vast place, which was packed to the gills. :D

I didn't manage to get tickets for that, not happy.

I only got a ticket 'cos my friends brother had one, then he unexpectedly died earlier in the year, so got offered his ticket. The concert was brilliant, looking forward to the inevitable bootleg.

Set list here. Never heard Tremor Christ live before!

I've been to see them a few times, always amazing gigs.

The other year I went to both shows in Manchester. Bought tickets for the 1st night then went and got tickets from a tout for the 2nd night.

Did you pay any more for the tout tickets?

After all the usual fees on the normal ticket we saved about £2.

My brother missed out on a £15 ticket by about 20 seconds. Tout bought it in front of him then sold it to my brother for face value.

There were lots of touts working the concert last night. Some more slick than others. One guy had a handwritten cardboard sign saying he was from the Ten Club selling tickets on the cheap.

Noticed a lot of videos from last night on youtube already. Funniest moment was Eddie goading Jeff into singing a song, he said it's doesn't matter what you'll sing the audience'll finish it off anyway. He suggested Jeff's style was 1970's Swedish pop at which point Eddie started singing ABBA's Fernando, finished off in great form by the crowd.  :-)
