What to Watch

Flying to Hawaii Sunday, what should I watch on the flights?  I started Breaking Bad but didn't get past 4-5 episodes.  Are there others that I should consider?

If you didn't like Breaking Bad I have little else to say to you. :O

The Wire
Deadwood
Boardwalk Empire

Those and Breaking Bad are my main TV series highlights of the past ages.

Shouldn't you be watching whatever movies the airline is going to inflict on you? That's what I always do.

It's not that I didn't like it, I just got busy.

I'm on season 2 of Deadwood.  Pretty good.  I mainly started it because Timothy Olyphant. If you haven't watched Justified do it.  Fucking best show there is!

And thanks, I'll do some looking into these!

And no, I won't be forced to watch what they are showing unless it's good.  I flew from PA to OR about 100 years ago and they tried to force me to watch The Civil War or some shit.

Sherlock.

The British one. Not that one you've got over there with a transvestite as Watson.

Have you ever watched the Channel 4 comedy series Spaced?

You should continue to watch Breaking Bad. Duh.

(And join me in mocking Dan for not knowing that Bryan Cranston (aka Walter White) also played Malcolm in The Middle's Dad)

I think that's what I'm going to do.  I already have all the episodes so all I'd have to do is copy them to my laptop or a thumb drive.

Nope.

Neither sound like something I'd enjoy.  I tried to force myself to watch that one with the guy in the telephone booth but I didn't like it either.

I reckon you will.  Maybe not all the jokes about Irn Bru, but the rest.

eh, I was never a big fan.  I stated watching Tomorrow People but there are only like 5 episodes.  10-12 hours on a plane is going to require a few more than that!

Sherlock is excellent.

They showed a couple of pretty OK films on the flight.  I think they were Heat and Grownups 2.  I slept and farted almost the entire flight, and waking when the drink/food peeps came through.  12 hours on a plane hurts my neck!

One of the reasons I got a surround sound system was that gun fight in Heat.
