While I wait for Jim to bring round a copy of Acrobat, are there any decent FOSS PDF editors?

All I need to do is remove a bunch of pages from a bunch of PDFs*, nothing fancy. I had a quick look at the list on Wikipedia but wasn't sure what would be any good :|

*my maths lecture is an asshat. He creates his lecture slides as PDFs, with a new page each time a new bit of text is revealed, so the PDFs are often over a hundred pages for 4 or 5 pages of text (fail) . It's probably because he uses a Mac :C

Can you import them into Word/Open Office, trim/edit and then save as a PDF?

I don't know, no body replied and Jim came round 5 minute later so I used Acrobat.

Doesn't/Didn't matter what format they ended up in, I just wanted to print them out without being personally responsible for the destruction of an area of Amazonian rainforest the size of dolphins.

I hear you.  I stopped printing almost 100% last year at work. I might print two pages a month now.  I think that would have worked (what I suggested) but no matter now, you got what you needed!

Jim's a good fellow!

I don't print much, but as we were allowed 'any quantity' of our own notes in today's exam I was taking everythign I could lay my hands on! This included the last 2 exam papers, with the worked solutions, which, as it turned out, were almost exactly the same as this year's exam. I'm pretty sure I still managed to fail, though :$

Haha, no don't think like that.  There can only be one of us who thinks like that!  I'm sure you did fine!

Regular size dolphins? Because that would only be 80 reams of paper.

Common bottle nose. Normally deforestation is measure in areas the size of Whales, but dolphins are the accepted SI sub units.

1 dolphin = 100 centiwhales

1 Sea World = 3 half dead dolphins, an Orca and a depressed nurse shark.
