Been a while since I've seen one of these threads, so I'm wondering whether it's just my connection or something, but loading a thread seems to take a while every now and then. Doesn't seem to happen all the time, but often enough to notice.

Yeah I've had the same. Occasionally getting 504 errors when it's very slow too so I guess the server is choking on something.

me too, most times it loads fast enough, but sometimes it takes so long I wander in another tab

I have to say, it's usually lightning fast. I sometimes press the 'go' button twice because I didn't see it load.

I think it might just be the volume of traffic we sometimes get, as evident by the 30+ visitors that were online at 11am this morning.

Could probably do with some more aggressive caching for guests, that completely avoids the database.
