Will you be going by train?

I'm highly considering it, but it's going to be rather expensive from down 'ere (~£53 - £78! :O ).

I have the choice of Banbury to Leeds changing at Sheffield or alternatively changing at Birmingham New Street, which sounds better to me as I know New Street reasonably well!

If you're definitely going and changing by train, could meet you at Birmingham New Street?

Hmm.

I'm nowhere near organised enough to consider logistics at this point, but yes that could be a plan!

Looks like a no from me, looking at travel prices:

Edinburgh to Leeds : £95
Edinburgh to York: £65

Flybe Edinburgh to Leeds Bradford: £196

National Express to Leeds coach station: £30 bit arrive at 6pm and leave at 8am next day. Also jot sure if that's 30 each way :s

Drive: £80 petrol + several gallons of oil...

You could walk.

Walking = free. 'Though you may have to fuel up on star bars to keep you going, so there /is/ a minimal cost. But you could make each one more energy filled by using your charm to get them deep fried for free at local chippies.

Start now, and document the whole journey in a diary style to keep us entertained between now and the meat.

Well, it is very local to me, I'm only the one train station away from Leeds.

However, it does concern me that I'll be out and about in a local town with people I may not want to be seen with by other people who know me. There's some funny looking buggers on this forum :-Y

However, if PB turns up I'll be there with knobs on.

For a bunch of geeks, we're surprisingly pretty and popular. I'll put you on the maybe list.

Yeah, if you would. I'm a strong maybe. Although our holiday time's two weeks before that, I can't honestly say what I'll be doing from one weekend to the next. There's a shed load of family stuff happening over the summer, and I've not yet worked out when. :-<

Can you put me down as a maybe.

Thinking might be able to convince Mel to take James to visit her sister in Leeds and come round.
