As if BT's fight against the evil empire wasn't enough, Apple claims a righteous victory in stamping those little upstarts HTC and wopping their sorry arses back to shitphoneville! It was only one patent infringement, but it'll make them think twice about stealing someone else's intellectual property (that was likely bought from the real developer).

It was only one patent of ten that was upheld, which HTC are saying is easily fixable, so I doubt it's the Apple camp celebrating, it's good for HTC if anything.

It's all silliness though.

The patent seems to be "clicking on numbers and treating them as phone numbers", which every phone I've had since a Nokia 3330 has been able to do :|
