Sharing

It can be bollocking difficult to do something really simple like sharing a folder on a network in Windows 7. One day MS will sort out their primitive (and not particularly secure) permissions systems, or simply adopt a UNIX model or something more sophisticated like RACF or TopSecret. That is the end of my rant - thank you for reading.

Forget sharing the folder, the transfer speeds are what annoy me. I've got a wireless connection to the router from two different PC's and can VNC from one to the other at at least 1400kbps, however file transfers seem to be limited to about 350kbps.
