Can we have another York Meat please? Just come back from a weekend there in the snow and it was ace. Would be grand to see everyone there. And I want to go here again:

They had a special Vodka showcase cabinet downstairs Steve, you'd approve.

I was joking :(

29th probably isn't that good for me, after 6th of Feb would be better :$

Don't make me cry Ben. I don't have much planned in February at the moment apart from some kind of half baked idea of a Ukulele flash mob on one weekend.

What about the 19th of February?

Living in Melton Mowbray innit. We're up in Keefley for a bit in January and tickets to anywhere from Melton are stupid expensive so it's easiest to do it while we're most of the way there already.

Anyone else want a wee drinky and potter around York on the 22nd?

I guarantee these things will happen:

We will go look at BATTLE MACES in the sword shop.
We will go to The Bottle and see what happens when we put Steve in front of the massive vodka display cabinet.
We will go in the bar upstairs at The Bottle, "Trembling House of Madness" I think it's called. And test the 41% beer.

41% proof beer?

That's crazy, does it come in pints or would a shot be more likley? Or would that be deemed as being a tad wussy? :|

I've not been able to drink for 2 years 'cos of operations and medication, so you've got me wondering what affect a pint o' that'd have on my appallingly low alcohol tolerance?

I somewhat doubt they sell it in pints. Or even half pints, not sure, just saw the sign when I was there yesterday. I ended up opting for the mulled wine though.
