If the baby's born on the 15th, by the 18th you'll be wanting a break from it.

Assuming Helen isn't working, what about the 4th of December (as I'm at another Xmas do on the 11th)?

(a work do on a Saturday, serg? That's outrageous!)

I think I'll be at ATP on the 4th, subject to getting a ticket organised in time (tis sold out but hey).

Aside from that nothing's booked in I don't think, I'll try to be along.

I'm with you on the Saturday work thing. I get to see those bastards 5 days a week as it is, if they think I'd turn up on a weekend to spend time with them too, they're mistaken. So, we have ours on a Friday instead.

Even that's a bit iffy, we consider it a right to have a day after the party essentially wasted being hungover.

Actually that's not true now, we had it on a Friday last year. Hmm.

Also, I can no longer use Quick Reply at all, and the wee dropdown on the right has vanished. Has something changed?

I couldn't be doing with going into work the night after the xmas do, although I work so far away I drive anyway so no hangover for me.

And ditto on the quick reply-to-all thing, not working for me either.

4th is good for me!

It's working for me again. A new day, or just that I'm now in Chrome Mac instead of PC Firefox? Who knows.

I drive to work too, but the day after a party I let the train take the strain. At about lunchtime most years :)

I know, I know...
I can probably do the 4th or 11th, don't mind which.

I can do most Saturdays in December except 11th as I'm hosting a Christmas bash of my own.

I'll check what she has planned for me (she's basically my diary...I have the memory of a dead fish), but as far as I'm aware I'm good for the 4th or the 18th...although I'll be hung over from a bash on the 17th.

18th of December, in York.

Then perhaps a trip to Wendyhouse in Leeds after.

I'm probably up for that. Although I'll only be able to make it in the evening.

Wendyhouse... What are you, a fat goff?

Oh, wait...

I went once, I requested MCR and they didn't play it. I hated them all for a while but the final "bugger off" song was Britney Spears, which me and my mate (6'7" analogue trash dj ad3k) went mental for, to the surprise of most of the room.

Have you ever been to analogue trash in Manchester? It's all kinds of amazing.

Nope.

And surely everyone dances to the fuck-off-home tune at the end! At a club in Edinburgh that I used to go to they'd turn the house lights up at a random point in the last tune, just to catch a dancefloor full of goths dancing to the Spice Girls or whatever.
