What is it? I am on my phone, it appears not to have the links section. In fact, it also appears to render all of the messages in a thread on top of one another. So this thread of one message is the first one i can read ....

I can't be arsed figuring out the right words to use; just look at it on a PC and it'll be obvious what I'm too lazy to explain. :P

There's a link that says something along the lines of "Teh Forum (new and improved)" and it is pointing to someone else's unrelated website.

wtf? second up from the bottom is 'newbies linux'

It 404s to a forum hosting website.

 

I seem to remember it being an actual Teh Forum but obviously not related to us in any shape or form.

 

Or maybe I dreamt it...

Hmmm, wasn't a 404 last time I looked, and although I do remember there being another place calling itself 'teh forum' this link wasn't pointing there; it was pointing to some other named place.

Eitherway, I don't think the link should be there, because:
1) It kinda implies that there is a new/better version of this place.
2) It's not a link owned by any regular/irregular poster here.
3) It's 404ing.

Dunno. I thought anyone could submit, but only creators or mods could edit/remove.

The moderation tools on the links section are not in the best place. You have to click [view] on the right of a link and then the moderation tools are at the bottom.

 

You should be able to see them so long as you have "User can moderate Links section" in your user permissions / group permissions.

Still it's all tremendously obsolete now, no doubt. I think I've probably lost all the files again, too. I really shouldn't be trusted with things I create.
