Just read about this, allegedly caused by a security update. Before we turn on our pc's, anything we should know?

Ah, it's some cloud security shite which we (most likely?) ain't got.

...booted up a virtualbox instance with automatic updates turned off. All seemed ok so I shut down. It is now running a forced update.

I think unless you have Crowdstrike stuff installed, you should be fine.
