Merry Christmas - bit of a strange one, again. Caught covid at the office Christmas party (we think), but recovered from it in time to be able to go to my sister's, only for my nephew to catch it last week, so they're all in isolation. My mum & dad then invited us over for Christmas dinner, and pointed out that if we hadn't joined them, it'd have been the first time in over fifty years that they'd have spent Christmas on their own.
Hope the covid wasn't too horrid. My nephew caught it a couple of weeks ago but he just thought he had a hangover. Fortunately, his dad suggested a lateral flow test (which was an instant positive) so he didn't go clubbing and partying which was next on his Christmas plans.
All 14 visitors (except the two tiny children under 5) who are visiting us tomorrow will have had tests within the last 24 hours. So the kids will probably infect everybody.
And a belated Merry Christmas to you all!
Bit late but Merry Christmas!
You're actually incredibly early.
