Our Dyson went south the other month, so we got a
Shark
.
S'bloody brilliant and well worth redirecting your money away from Dyson. It made me the most excited I've got about a vacuum cleaner. I literally had to sit down after using it.

I looked at the Sharks, really couldn't justify the price unfortunately.

Yep. Full price, they're hugely expensive things. There's a lot cost there for something that's a load of plastic with a motor.
We found a pretty good amazon deal where that one I linked to was going for £180.

We got that same Shark. £180 too. Although reduced to £140 a week or so later.
It's pretty good. Way better than the previous thing we had. The lift off bit is handy too.

£180 also buys a regular hair dryer, a bunch of towels, and more than forty two thousand coloured labels.

Yeah, it's good for stairs combined with that little air powered roller thing.
Godammit. We've really reached middle age haven't we? We'll be talking about the state of our gardens with true sincerity next.

Talking of middle-aged, I just re-read this thread. Blimey. Is this the forum that pinked the castle and emailed Monsanto asking for midget animals?
