They're final renders prior to minting in bronze in Germany.

The *Very* Tall Banker is an actor on Powerisers, who has been known to do a rather impressive standing somersault on them.

We're holding back on the Morris Dancers for next year.

I will see in a second whether Teh respects my line breaks...

Come along & do the Treasure Hunt.

Yorkshire pennies can be kept or exchanged in the very best Top'o'town shops for bargains!

Sounds good, I'll do my best way to get there. I know we've gota family wedding early April which will knock out one weekend then, but should be available on the other one. :)

The line breaks thing was my own fault.

I would like to see one of the bronze pennies. I like coins (though I don't collect them), and feature a penny designed by the Canadian painter Alex Coleville on an online photo project http://www.designartcraft.com/photo/penny-1.htm (come to think of it the project was even named after his penny). I think my two favourite coins of all time were the ha'penny and the tuppence encountered on my first visit to Scotland in ~1973, which were, of course, soon to be decimated.

I hope your tall banker performs some somersaults in costume, and the performance is documented on video.

I do not want to see Morris Dancers.

Edit: two many two's.

They were reduced by 1/10th?

It refers to the old Roman empire practice of killing one in ten of a resisting populace. These fine coins were thusly knifed before their time. The tyrant subjected them to a premature and unjust demise. Their comely shapes were struck down by an evil and inexorable system of maths, leading precipitously to the present day brexit, the reclaiming of English heritage from Johnny Foreigner (I could go on like this for hours, say when).

Bury'd Treasure went very well - so well they've asked us to do it again this year.  But they're out of the (sports lottery) funding they had last year, so we're having to put it together for buttons.

I saw that story last week and thought it's the ideal theft. So much easier to get rid of gold even on the proper market, than say a stolen painting which definitely needs to be sold on the black market to a limited number of interested people.
