That will be nice for her. Will they let her pick a color for it?
When my daughter broke hers they let pick a color for her cast, then later on, her and her friends decorated it. :)
Yes, she had a choice of red, blue, pink, purple and (I think they did it anyway) yellow. Not surprisingly pink the first time although she said maybe purple tomorrow.
We've got a waterproof cover for the cast so she'll still be able to go in the pool.
My daughter had pink the first time, then when the other arm came into play a few years later, she went with a light purple one called lilac. They had a dark purple one too, but she didn't really care for it. She's a big light pastel fan.

Surprisingly she went for red :O I am shocked.
I used to be a member of a working men's club and the elderly guys in there were all light pastel fans too.
Light pastel slacks were the order of the day, usually paired with an overly bright shirt and grey slip-ons.
:-&
My relatives were banned from
this club for a few weeks for general rowdiness, e.g. dancing on the tables.
And it's also where my great aunt (who was probably in her eighties) drank me
under the table.

Now there's a mental image no one wants!
We all can't cruise the Basel train for trunchbulls.
Be happy. We ran through at least four pastels painting her room. Each wall had to be a different color. When I was growing up all four walls were supposed to be the same. Not anymore. lol
I would have run screaming from the room. lol
Oh no, screaming wasn't allowed. In fact, loud noises were frowned upon, lest you put someone off their excruciatingly lengthy lined up billiard shot.
I lose interest when drunks are too wobbly to aim their billiard cue, but hang on pretending they'll get over it when in actual fact they just become more and more wobbly.
It wouldn't have stopped me. As I would have been leaving anyway, them threatening to throw me out and ban me would have been no threat at all. I would have probably even said thank you. :P
I thimk she may have a broken nose too now. The crazy girl was standingon the raised edge of the cray golf course holes, jumping from one to the next, slipped while jumping on one and came down hard on her face :( Swollen nose and black eyes now.
aww, man! Is this while on holiday? Girl needs to learn some balance skills. Or to be careful but yeah right.
I winced at the thought of that. Ouch.
Yup, we're away in Lanzarote. Not the best time to be breaking more bits. She needs a chain to keep her still and stop climbing and jumping in silly places :)
ant: Not fun watching the litle ones do things like that :(
FWIW my youngest is like that. But she's only been helicoptered to the Zürich children's hospital once, and that was years ago :/
Broken bones, black eyes... you'll be getting a knock from the Social when you get home :-/
I bet not. Dreading my lad doing it, he's at the stage of hurling himself about giggling, and occasionally that ends in tears after a bump. Have you taken her to the local medics?
