I watched that video and, as a nigger, I find it offensive that I'm expected to play the role as some goddam fuckin' honkey! :@
I made it to the DI prison! Yeah me!
(dance)
Nope, not alone. My favourites were the first and second ones. I hated the third and never bothered with the rest.
I jumped on it straight away and sold my Xbox copy as I only played it twice. Its brilliant and beautiful and I can't stop the fun. Managed to get a gang of mates playing last night, the races are a lot of fun and the Team deathmatch are just manic. There are a lot of weird network problems going on at the moment though which did spoil a few jobs.
This is what we as a group have always wanted, a place in GTA world to hang out and do stupid stuff. together.
I am going as wattsy if you want to add me.
just "wattsy"? there's quite a few on there, want to make sure I get the right one!
I'm "milk-oh".
Someone already had milko?!
I think it's a real name in some countries! This dates back from registering via Red Dead Redemption on PS3 and I couldn't get it then.
Did you try to verify it didn't exist?
Back when I had a PS3, I tried to register HeyRatFans (as I do for literally everything else), but PSN wouldn't let me use it. I checked and it definitely wasn't taken and it was fine with Hey-Rat-Fans though, so it wasn't a length thing, they just wouldn't let me use it.
Fickle company.
I shall add you later Mr Oh..
Kept getting kicked offline last night which was a bit annoying.
I can't honestly remember. Probably not. Sony are not a very good company at online things generally though, from all I've seen.
I got GTA V in the last week or so and while I've enjoyed it to an extent so far, it's starting to grate a tad, with all the driving becoming essentially delivery missions. I have zero interest in discovering the whole map which seems to be expansive. 10 years ago, I would no doubt have considered that a good thing. However, with less free time nowadays I'm just focussing on the story, which is a protracted mess. After roughly 5 hours play time I'm honestly not sure which NPCs I should be paying attention to and which are just fillers.
I've yet to meet a game "story" that is
not a protracted mess. Except for some user mods in GRAWF2 (yeah, now I remember, "Sanchez missions". Sanchez was a crazy fucker with a private army you had to find and kill over 5 missions). Those missions were awesome. I might try reinstalling it on my xp box one of these days/months/years.
Anyone know if FC3 has a cli console & cheats?
Edit: Whalp., I found this rather unsatisfactory list:

Aye. The best narrative I can recall in a game is the Secret of Monkey Island. And that's only /because/ it's an interactive story, so literally lends itself to the narrative.
Others games I can think of that are a bit up their arses when it comes to story is the Thief series along with the Elder Scrolls. As Xen mentioned on this thread some time ago, recent GTAs are overblown and are trying to be a 2 hour gangster movie spread across 30+ hours of gameplay. :C
Much as I hated the premise and most all of the FC3 story, it was considerably redeemed by some epic firefights in the last few levels, where (e.g.) you had to rescue dude's bro and he flies a helicopter badly while you man the mounted HMG.
Also must admit the story in the original Sniper Elite looked promising, I just couldn't get past the hideously awful retro-primitive graphics (which I suppose were cutting edge in their day).
Hey shitface, come back and talk to us! :@
This is (apparently, going by thread title) something to do with GTAV. Short attention spans. apparently.
Anyhoo, I've been playing this for an hour or two a day for most of the past week, and just as a sandbox, it is fooooking awesome (I did a couple of missions, which are also awesome but maybe too much work to figure out)! I've wound up playing some black petty criminal in the L.A. burbs who's ace at jacking cars, but not necessarily ace at driving (getting better though), deffo ace at crashing cars! I've haven't had so much fun tear-assing around a city creating mayhem since NFSPU. So I jacks a car/truck/ambulance/whatevs, drives it side-swiping, t-boning, rear-ending and front-ending all kinds of other vehicles. Jumping out, taking pot shots at the freeway, and dying in a hail of police bullets soon thereafter. Well, not really dying since I always wind up walking out of the hospital. :-(( :-O~~~ :-@
GTAV is a very good game, don't want to spoil anything, but you are in for a treat once you start to reach some of the heist missions. They're very well done indeed.
You can also make a *lot* of money with the stock market missions once you get them, but if you want to maximise your profits, it can be advisable to read a guide or two online for how best to play them. You can usually double or even triple your current money if you play them right.
