And this is what people spend research money on these days? OH my god!  (wrong)

I'd rather put my money into something like cancer research and finding a cure for things like it.

Perhaps it's the boner in your trousers that they find unsettling?

Obviously. they aren't too bright. If not desiring to capture the attention of a man (or men - other than leering, which IS obnoxious) then they should refrain from wearing clothing making them attractive.

My dad was wont to say, "If she is woman enough to show it, I am man enough to look." This more applies to females who are clad in revealing attire, but the principle is still the same.

Fucking hell. Is a woman not allowed to dress as she wishes, to make herself feel good?

It's close enough to saying a "provocatively" dressed woman is asking to be raped.

I think you're overreacting a bit there, TBH.

Totally different point and a different form of attention. Go ahead and do it if you feel great.

And they should get back in the kitchen where they belong, right?

If they want to look at my cock they should.

Give it a rest, eh? Not all statements are attacks on women; you a catholic school teacher or something along those lines? Crikey. Perhaps it is time for a good cry.

Correct, they're not. But suggesting that the only reason for a woman to dress nicely is for your pleasure clearly is.

It may seem like an innocent enough statement to you, but it's a symptom of the misogyny that society was built on and has no place in a world striving for equality.

You are reading WAY deeper into my post than is necessary.

Did you miss this:

So obviously, I am making a distinction. I would suggest to you that your continual leaping up and acting like a monkey banging tin cups in defence of women, when there is no misogyny or other negative aspects intended, is unnecessary and it makes it appear that you are continually looking to identify solely with women. If you have or had an overbearing mother, it is quite understandable, but I'd ask her if it was necessary to dress you up like the little girl she always wanted instead of allowing you to be the male you are.

Of course, if none of this applies to you, then I am as misguided as you are and I will refrain from being judgemental if you will.

I have a news flash for you: There is no equality. Not here, not there. Men will always retain male-specific qualities and females will always have female-specific qualities, by and large. Double standards DO indeed exist, for both sides; thinking otherwise is delusional at best. We are are wired, males and females, for some gender specific roles - but not to exclusion.

Just when I think things might be moving forward, females around me will refer to needed tasks as "men's work" or that they "can't do what a man does" or "I am just a woman". Those are all cop-outs for the lazy. By the same token, men should be able to do the things that women do and not be so damn lazy as to sit at table and wait to be served dinner; they should iron their own shirts and be able to clean and do laundry - as well or better than a female can or would. They should also get their own damn newspaper, pipe, cigar, beer and/or slippers and be supportive and a help to their wife, friend or significant other - whatever the terms might be today.

I recently had a discussion with a friend of mine, whose mother did his laundry (and most else) for him until he left home many years ago at age 21. I can tell you, my mother never allowed for males not doing "women's work" and also required self-sufficiency. To that end, I am perfectly capable of cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing and other tasks formerly viewed as female-dominated jobs of the previous generation. Plus, I can rebuild an automatic transmission and replace head gaskets on the family grocery-getter. But I digress.

I don't NEED a woman, I want to be with one. I like women, like to be with them and do not reduce them to their gender alone. I'd rather sit and chat with women at a party than with all of the boasting cocks. The endless rating of sports teams, machismo, ball-busting and comparisons over retirement plans or possessions is tiresome. Unless there are a couple of pilots there - in such case I might forget that women even have breasts or are beautiful.

Society will survive even if you don't constantly bleat on about femmes and equality.

Ah of course, it's all because my mother used to dress me up as a girl. How silly of not to realise.

Presumably the reason I speak out against racism is because she used to black me up.

Also, your link doesn't work.

What link is that, mate? I underlined something but I don't remember linking to anything.
