What Ant says, but you can even present multiple IPs on one interface. You only ever have one MAC per interface, though until a VM comes along which could have it'a own MAC, though usually they NAT with the host by default for simplicity

Usually a VM has it's own host name. Pretty sure it's ethernet & WiFi. I'll know for sure in a couple of hours.

Oh, if you're grouping by hostname then that's what it'll be unless he's got two Ethernet NICs
