I seem to have slept in.  After I get myself around I'm going to try to get it.  I will record the rescue attempt!

I drove back by myself and had to come home to get help.  I'm nervous because it's fucking deep and I know people who have drowned there.  If I can pay someone to rescue it I will/would do that.  But it will be rescued before the end of the day, one way or the other.

If it wasn't so deep I'd have gotten it when it went in!

Is it actually still there? And not in the sea by now?

Please don't drown.

Yes.  It is a dam so the current is very slow but pretty deep.

*At least I think it is still there.  You can't see because of the depth.

Blow up the damn and capture it when it flows out the other side.

Trying to call someone who is on the swim team or a lifeguard.  A friend and I both walked in and it's fucking freezing.  If I can't find someone who wants to make some money it will stay there I guess.

I think I've found someone willing to get it.  He won't be able to do it until later.  I will post an update later and hopefully have good news!

If you so drown, make sure you get it on camera.

I thought I knew how to fly it!  Of course it's different than my little one but I was being so careful!

To update this thread, my daughters friend said he could do it.  He does swimming in the winter and stuff, or so he says.  He jumped in the water and promptly exited the water.  I have this recorded.

So I stopped on the way home to talk to another friend that I thought might be willing to do it.  He said no, but he pointed me to a Navy SEAL who he knows.  He is going to give me a call in a little bit and I'm going to meet him.  He thinks he can retrieve it.  If a Seal can't then I fear it's lost!  This guy has a tank and suit and stuff.  So hopefully I can post some good news later today on the status!

I feel helpless about it.  I was about to go get some beer and get a little drunk and then go in to get it, hoping that would knock down the cold enough.  It's in the mid 80's but the water is frigid!

I've got a drysuit, but I don't think it'll be much use to you.
