Just want to use the wifi to backhaul to the real router, don't want devices to connect to this one wireless ly.


It's not far to the real router but the cat attacks any cables we run (rented so can't go under floor boards etc.)

Nope, I think I looked at it when I was in my flat with the bathroom internet lightswitch but never bothered installing it.

It's not annoying enough to spend money on. Just wondering if I could do it with the gear I've got lying around.

Doesn't seem to work with my router (mine is on firmware 7.something, the custom firmware is 6.something)
